Chad Hogston

Chad Hogston is a district court judge for the 5th Judicial District, which presides over New Hanover and Pender counties of North Carolina. He was first elected to the court in 2010. Hogston was re-elected to the 5th Judicial District in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[1]

Hogston was elected to the North Carolina 5th Judicial District in 2010. He defeated Robin Wicks Robinson in the general election, winning 52.01 percent of the vote.[3][4]
Education
Hogston received his undergraduate degree in political science from James Madison University in 1993 and his J.D. from Campbell University Law School in 1996.[5][6]
Career
Before his election to the court in 2010, Hogston practiced law with the firms of Rountree & Seagle, Lineberry & White, Anderson & Hogston, and Hogston Law, P.C., all in Wilmington, North Carolina.[6]
