Chad Story
Chad Story (b. August 25, 1989) was a Republican candidate for District 19, West Virginia House of Delegates in the November 2, 2010 state legislative election.
Story has been a Qualified Security Assessor, for ResCare Inc. since 2008. He attends Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College as a Secondary Education major[1][2]

Story was defeated as one of six candidates running for the four positions in District 19 on the ballot in the November 2, 2010, general election. His opponents in the general election were Republican Elias Gregory; Democratic incumbents Josh Stowers and Ralph Rodighiero and Greg Butcher, and Democrat Rupert Phillips, Jr. Only the top four vote-getters were elected.[3][4]

2010
Story's website highlighted the following campaign themes:
- Coal - "We must stand up for coal and our coal miners. "
- Education - "I support a balanced budget for special education programs."
- Pro-life - "I believe the unborn child has the fundamental, individual right to life which must not infringed and that life begins at conception."
- Taxes and the Economy - "West Virginians are taxed to the extreme and it must be stopped."
- Mentally Handicapped - "We must protect and care for the mentally handicapped of West Virginia."[5]
