Interview with KSN News

Young highlighted the following themes in an interview with KSN News on July 16, 2024. The questions from KSN News are bolded and Young's responses follow below.[2]

What is the top thing that deserves your immediate attention in Washington, and what action would you take on it, including how you’d compromise with members of the other party?

To get big corporations to stop forcing Congress to keep the border open. It needs to be closed. And no we don’t need to work with the other party. Their way hasn’t worked so far.

Share your thoughts about the current Supreme Court. Do you believe it should be expanded?

No it’s already to big where it stands.

Share your stance on gun control/2nd Amendment rights.

I am a strong supporter of Second amendment rights. I don’t believe the government should be able to have control over our arms.

Where do you stand on LGBTQ issues and rights?

I don’t think I have the right to tell people who they can love or marry. But I do not support or respect anything LGBTQ stands for.

What needs to be done about immigration and border control?

It needs to shut. No open boarders. If people want to come here for a better life they need to come legally.

How would you ensure the future of Social Security?

Never allowing the government to touch social security, it’s already been paid for.

What are your thoughts on climate change? What should Congress do about it, if anything?

It’s another lie that is brought on by big corporations.

What should the U.S. do about the situation between Israel and Hamas and Palestine?

It’s a proxi war that we have no business being in.

Do you think the U.S. should do more about the situation in Ukraine?

No we are 38 trillion dollars in debt. We need to take care of America first and stop funding proxi wars.[3]
