A Chaffee City Wastewater Bond Measure was on the April 6, 2010 ballot in the city of Chaffee which is in Scott County.
This measure was approved
- YES 209 (57.42%)
- NO 155 (42.58%)[1]
This measure sought approval of a $12 million bond which would go towards helping repair and fix the city's wastewater system. City officials noted that while the system is not in immediate need, re-occurring small problem will continue to build and create larger problems in the future if changes and upgrades are not made soon. The proposed changes include upgrading the wastewater plant, fixing pipe lines and potentially adding on to the current facility.[2]
