This measure sought to increase the current sales tax by a rate of 2.25 percent on the storage, use and sale of vehicles in the county in order to help pay for emergency medical services offered in the county.[2] A public forum was held to address the three county issues on October 4 and 6, allowing those to speak out both for and against the proposed tax changes.[3]
Current Statewide
A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[4]
