Charisse M. Mullen is an officeholder of the Virginia 7th Judicial District. She assumed office on April 1, 2021. Her current term ends on March 31, 2027.

Biography
Mullen received her bachelor's degree and J.D. (1997) from North Carolina Central University. She moved to Virginia in 2004 and worked as a sole practitioner until 2008. She then served as a prosecutor at the Hampton Commonwealth's Attorney's Office for 10 years. She served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Division of Virginia's Office of the Attorney General for 16 months afterwards. Directly prior to her appointment, she had been employed in private practice.[2]
