Charles "Buck" Taylor was a 2014 candidate for the Orphans Court of Allegany County in Allegany County, Maryland.[1]

2014

Taylor ran for election to the Orphans Court of Allegany County.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 24, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 14.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Edward C. Crossland, Donna F. May, and Billie J. Gilpin for three open seats. [1][2] 

Education

Taylor has a Th.D. from the California Graduate School of Theology.[3]

Career

Taylor retired from the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation as an assessor. He was also a code enforcement officer in the City of Cumberland for four years.[4][3]

Military service

Taylor was a member of the United States Naval Reserve in 1961, and a member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary for 15 years.[3]
