Charles A. Clement, Jr. is a Pennsylvania magisterial district judge for Cumberland County Magisterial District. He was re-elected to this position on November 5, 2013 for a term ending in 2019. He has also served on the Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline. He was appointed to this position by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on April 8, 2011.[1][2]

2013 election

Clement, Jr. ran for re-election to the Cumberland County Magisterial District. Primary: He received 99.5 percent of the vote in the Republican primary on May 21, 2013.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 5, 2013.

Education

Clement earned a double bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communication from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, in 1980.[2]

Career

Clement began his service as a Cumberland County Magisterial District Judge in 1989. He has served as a member of the Special Court Judges Association of Pennsylvania in the following positions: advisor to the President, Liaison to the Supreme Court and to the Legislature, member of the Ethics & Professionalism Committee, and in various other assignments. He also served as the President of the association from 1997 to 1998. Clement served on the Judicial Conduct Board from 2005 to 2009 as well.[1][2]
