Charles Brunner
Charles Brunner is a former Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 96 from 2010 to 2017.
Brunner did not seek re-election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2016 because he was term-limited.
Biography
Brunner earned his associate degree in business administration from Delta College, and a bachelor's degree in business/marketing education and master's degrees in business education and secondary school administration from Central Michigan University. Now retired, his professional experience includes working as a high school teacher.

2014
Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Incumbent Charles Brunner was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Carlos Jaime was unopposed in the Republican primary. Brunner defeated Jaime in the general election.[4][5][6][7]
2012
Brunner won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 96. He was unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Chad Dewey (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8]
2010
Brunner won election to the District 96 seat in 2010. He defeated Brian Elder in the August 3 Democratic primary. He defeated Dennis Poirier, Sr. (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[9][10]
