Charles Creed McGinley was a circuit court judge for the Twenty-Fourth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He began serving on the court in 1988 and was re-elected without opposition in 2006 and 2014.[1][2][3] McGinley retired from the court on October 31, 2021.[4]

Education

McGinley received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1973 and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis Law School in 1976.[1]

Career

McGinley began his career in 1976 as a private practice attorney and worked in that capacity until 1982. He then served as an assistant district attorney general until 1988, when he joined the Twenty-Fourth Circuit Court.[1]
