Charles E. Brown, Jr.
Charles E. Brown, Jr. was a judge on the Stark County Court of Common Pleas in Canton, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Bob Taft in 2001 and has been elected to two consecutive six-year terms.[1] Brown retired from the court on October 31, 2012.[2]
Education
Brown received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.[3]
Career
Before he became a judge, Brown was a senior partner at his firm of Brown, Lundgren and Goldthorpe. He also served as an acting judge for the Alliance Municipal Court from 1999 to 2001.[4]
