Charles F. Lettow is a federal judge on senior status for the United States Court of Federal Claims. He joined the court in 2003 after being nominated by President George W. Bush.[1] He assumed senior status on July 13, 2018.

Early life and education

Lettow earned his Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Iowa State University in 1962. He went on to earn his LL.B. from Stanford University in 1968. Later, Lettow returned to school for a master's in history from Brown University in 2001.[1]

Military service

Lettow served in the Third Infantry Division of the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965.[1]

Lettow was nominated to the United States Court of Federal Claims by President George W. Bush on July 14, 2003. Lettow was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on July 22, 2003, and immediately began his duty.[1] He assumed senior status on July 13, 2018.
