Charles V. Feltes was a judge for the Trempealeau County Circuit Court in Wisconsin. He was appointed to the seat by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on July 11, 2016, to fill the vacancy created by Judge John Damon's resignation.[1]
Feltes lost a re-election bid in the primary election on February 21, 2017.
Biography
Feltes earned an undergraduate degree at Wisconsin State University-River Falls and a J.D. at the University of Illinois College of Law. He practiced law in a solo practice in Osseo from 1995 until his appointment to the bench, working in real estate, family law, business law, estate planning, probate, and general litigation. Feltes became a commissioner with the county court in 2009.[1]
