Charles Freiberger was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 46 of the Indiana State Senate. He ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2010.

Freiberger received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Indiana University Southeast. His professional experience includes working as a teacher for the New Albany/Floyd County School System.[1]

Elections for the Indiana State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Charles "Chuck" Freiberger was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Ron Grooms was unopposed in the Republican primary. Grooms defeated Freiberger in the general election.[2][3]

Freiberger faced Republican candidate Ron Grooms in the November 2 general election. Grooms defeated Freiberger by a margin of 18,965 to 21,019. Democratic incumbent Connie Sipes did not run for re-election.

In the May 4 primary election, Freiberger ran unopposed.[4]
