Stoudemire ran in a special election for South Carolina House of Representatives District 93. The seat was vacant following Rep. Harry Ott, Jr.'s (D) resignation to work as the state director for the Farm Service Agency in the federal government. Stoudemire was defeated by Russell L. Ott (D) in the special election, which took place on October 29.[1][2][3]
2010
Stoudemire did not face any opposition in the June 8 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Harry Ott, Jr. (D) in the November 2 general election.[4].
