The most significant problem facing the town of Portsmouth State of Rhode Island the country in the world is the devastating effect of climate change. That is my top priority even though at the Town Council person I would only be able to deal with the edges of it.
Local government is for government closest to the people that deals with mundane issues of Roads essential issue of Education of children.
I believe it would be my late father and mother they love their family and their community and work tirelessly to improve both. I would also say I admire Jonas Salk who realized that the gift of life is one that should be given freely.
Well the historic character was different than that betrayed in the film I believe 'a man for all seasons' staring Paul Scofield is representative of my political philosophy.
Willingness to act without you a favor. A curiosity about the world around them. An attention to advance the interest of all the citizens of the community. Curiosity and integrity
I like to see assumes I would be given credit for it. I'm looking to leave a better community State and Country then I found. If I achieved that I will achieve my goals.

Including earworms I would say 'in my life' by John Lennon
Well I have managed to quit both an alcohol and cigarettes. I have to acknowledge that as somebody running for public office I have not been particularly Adept at suffering fools.

I would like to live in the world where a chicken could cross the road without having its motive questions.
All of the activities of the Portsmouth Town Council are recorded and then uploaded to youtube. I believe that we cannot be more transparent. We all elected every 2 years so I do not believe we can be more accountable.
