A vote about whether to Recall Charles Lahn, Brian Boehnen and Harold Mulhern from their positions as members of the school board of the Osseo-Fairchild School District took place on November 2, 2010.[1]
All three were ousted in the November 2 election.[2]
The recall campaign was led by a group called "Restoring Education and Reason to the Osseo-Fairchild School Board."[3]
Recall target Charles Lane ruled that the signatures that were submitted to trigger a recall election were invalid. Lane's decision was appealed to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board, which said that he had overstepped his authority and ordered that the recall election take place.[4]
Stacy Tanner, Phil Hazard and Patricia Matthews were elected to the seats made vacant by the recalls.[5]
