Charles M. Neaves

Charles M. Neaves was a district court judge for the 17B Judicial District in North Carolina. He joined the court in 1994 and retired in 2017. He served as chief district court judge from 2007 to 2017.[1][2]

Education
Neaves received his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1979 and his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1982.[1][5]
Career
Before he joined the court, Neaves worked as an attorney in private practice for eight and a half years. He also served as an assistant district attorney for three and a half years.[1]
