Charles Francis McLaughlin (1887-1976) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

McLaughlin received a recess appointment from President Harry Truman on October 21, 1949, to a new seat created by 63 Stat. 493; he was nominated on January 5, 1950, confirmed by the Senate on February 27, 1950, and received his commission on March 1st. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1964, and served in that capacity until his death on February 5, 1976.[1]
