Charles Gelbert Neese (October 3, 1916-October 22, 1989) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

President John F. Kennedy nominated Neese to a recess appointment on November 20, 1961, to fill a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80. Neese was then nominated on January 15, 1962, confirmed by the Senate on February 7, 1962, and was commissioned on February 17, 1962. He assumed senior status on August 31, 1982 with his service terminating on October 22, 1989, due to death.[1] Neese was succeeded in this position by Herbert Milburn.
