Charles P. Bullock
Charles Patrick Bullock was a district court judge for the 11th Judicial District, serving Harnett, Johnston, and Lee counties of North Carolina. He was appointed by former Governor Mike Easley in January of 2008 and was elected the following November. He lost his bid for re-election and stepped down in December of 2012.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Bullock received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 1999 and his J.D. degree from Campbell University School of Law in 2003.[5]
Career
Bullock began his career as a law clerk and law library assistant. He then joined Adams & Howell, P.A., first as a law clerk and then as an attorney. He later worked as corporate counsel and as a prosecutor for the 11th Prosecutorial District and Harnett County District Attorney's Office. In 2008, he joined the District Court.[2]
2012 election
Bullock was defeated for re-election to the 11th Judicial District by Mary Howard Wells on November 6, 2012, receiving 44.78 percent of the vote.[4][6]
