Charles Sargent, Jr.
Charles Michael Sargent, Jr. (b. February 3, 1945) is a former Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 61 from 1996 to 2018. Sargent did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Sargent attended Pace University from 1963 to 1965. At the time of his service in the state House, he had been the owner of an insurance agency since 1975. Sargent served in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1967.

Sargent won re-election to the 61st District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[10] He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[11]
