All public servants need to be lifted up to ensure excellence in response to the peoples needs. The public deserves to be safe and respected always. Children must enjoy complete protection and be our first and most sacred priority.
  • Chuck believes a public servants job needs to focus on the publics quality of life as well as safety. Smart and intelligent use of space is a priority. We must create a balance of growth and conservation of our public spaces. This will allow Georgia to continue to prosper and enjoy a wonderful quality of life while ensuring we maintain our areas unique beauty.
  • Chuck believe that the focus will be on the safety and prosperity of the citizens of Georgia. He understands that personal believes can influence policy but it should never infringe on the freedoms of others. We must stand up for a women's right to control their own bodies. He believes we must also improve our infrastructure to care for women and men when faced with difficult decisions. Options must be built and become part of our standard operating procedures. We must take care of the most vulnerable and be proud of the systems we have in place. We don't have them today, but we could.
I passionately support a women's right to control their own bodies.
I look up to my mother. She raised me, my brother and sister after my father passed when I was seven. She is the embodiment of strength and conviction.
I gain strength from listening to music. I am a fan of many genres. I prefer messages of hope from artists like Bob Marley, Willie Nelsen, The Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffet and Aretha Franklin.
An elected official must exhibit the highest moral character. He must lead by example and strive to deliver prosperity for his constants. He must be a tireless worker and always be accountable.
Being entrusted by others to deliver on promises made must be taken with the most serious conviction.
The core responsibility of an elected official is to represent the people that have entrusted. The publics safety and prosperity must always come first.
I would like people to remember me as a father, husband and friend
My first historical memory that really affected me was when President Regan was shot.
I worked at a fast food restaurant for about a year.
The Sun also Rises is my favorite book. My roommate in college fell in love with Hemingway and backpacked through Europe for two months the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore year of college. We ran with the Bulls in Pamplona and drank whisky in Bars Hemingway visited in Paris.
If I could be any fictional character it would be Han Solo. He is my favorite.
Music is very important in my life. I listen everyday. Tonight at dinner we listened to Nat King Cole and Aretha Franklin. During the day I listened to Tyler Childers and CCR.
I have learned to accept others for who they are and where they stand. This has been a lifelong learning process.
The governor is to be an equal arm of the state governmental system.
The states greatest challenge will be to continue economic growth while not forgetting those who don't enjoying it. We must take care of the most vulnerable and ensure prosperity for all citizens.
Experience is important for any elected official. But outside government experience is even more important. Elected officials are stewards of the people and must have a complete understanding of their lives. That can only be gained through real world experience not ones based solely in the confines of politics.
A legislator must work with other elected official to achieve the goal of improving the lives of the citizens of Georgia. Only compassion and compromise and deliver true beneficial change.
Jackie Robinson is a person that I believe represented the virtues all people should strive to be.
I never thought I would run for office. I want to get through the first one before I talk about anything else.
My seven your old daughter told me about intruder drills. I never had to experience anything like that growing up. We can do better as a people.
Momma tomato, Poppa tomato and baby tomato are walking down the street. Momma Tomato looks back at baby tomato and says ketchup.
The use and oversight of emergency powers should only be granted in the truest dire emergencies and only when approved by the will of the people.
A bill to increase funding for school safety.
Education, Game, Fish and Parks, Higher Education, Juvenile Justice, Natural Resources and Environment, Small Business Development, Special Committee on Healthcare, Ways and Means
An elected official needs to be completely transparent to his constituents. He must be totally accountable and open to the highest scrutiny.
