Charles Townsend (Wyoming)
Charles Townsend (b. August 29, 1943) was a Republican member of the Wyoming State Senate. He has represented District 1 since 2004. He was re-elected in 2008.
Townsend earned his B.S. in business from Black Hills State University in 1965.
Townsend has worked as both a rancher and a crude oil producer.[1]

Charles Townsend did not run for re-election in 2010. Republican Ogden Driskill, will run for the open seat in the November 2, 2010, general election. The signature filing deadline for Independent candidates was August 23, 2010.[2][3]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Charles Townsend won re-election to the Wyoming State Senate, District 1. He ran unopposed.[4]
Townsend raised $1,182 for his campaign.[5]
