Charles V. Romani, Jr.
Charles V. Romani, Jr. was a judge of the Third Circuit of Illinois. He served on the Third Circuit from 1988 until his retirement in November 2012.[1][2]
Military service
Romani served in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971.[2]
Career
Prior to becoming a Circuit Court judge, Romani served as an associate judge for five years. Before this, he was an attorney for Bond County from 1976 to 1983.[2]
Romani served as presiding judge of the criminal division from 2005 to 2012. During this time, he established one of the first Veterans Courts in the country. [2]
