I'm a physician and a retired Navy Captain. I first moved to Colorado in 1975 after active duty in the Navy and now live in Boulder.
  • Develop a market bases healthcare delivery system that ensures that all Americans have access to quality and affordable health care
  • Develop 21st century energy sources that ensure inexpensive energy and protect the planet. This will include solar, clean fossil and nuclear sources
  • Education must prepare the youth of this country for the future. To do less robs them of their future and the country of its most valuable resource, our children
As a physician I care most about ensuring that everyone in this country has access to quality care. This care must be patient centric. The government and insurance companies must remain peripheral.

Education is the ladder to upward mobility. Every child should be able to climb as high as their talents and efforts can take them.

The world's population is approaching 8 billion. We must be good stewards while ensuring that there is energy for food, clean water, earn homes and power for industry.
That I made things better than I found them
I was living in Japan during the Korean War. I was only 6 but remember listening to the reports on AFN and seeing the headlines in the Stars and. Stripes
I had a lawn mowing service for 2 years beginning at age 14.

America is the stabilizing force in the world. Balancing military might with diplomacy is a fine art.
A citizen needs experience prior to serving. If the elected member is serving the constituents, then I'm uncertain how long they should serve. But Congress should not be seen a career.
