Charles Young (Democratic Party) was a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 82. He assumed office in 2012. He left office on December 19, 2024.
Young (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 82. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
Young passed away on December 19, 2024.[1]

Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[2] Incumbent Charles Young was unopposed in the Democratic primary. No Republican candidates filed for election. Young ran unchallenged in the District 82 general election.

On November 8, 2011, Young won election to District 82 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He defeated incumbent Wilbert Jones in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[3][4]
