Charli Cooksey was an at-large member of the St. Louis Public Schools Board of Education in Missouri. She was first elected to the board in the general election on April 7, 2015. She did not run for re-election in 2019.

As of 2015, Cooksey was the executive director of InspireSTL, a community organization to support young scholars. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.[1]

Two of the seven seats on the St. Louis Board of Education were up for at-large general election on April 7, 2015. The seats of incumbents David L. Jackson and Katie Wessling were up for election. They ran against four challengers: Charli Cooksey, Joey Hollins, Thomas Oldenburg, and Natalie Vowell. Wessling was re-elected to another four-year term, while Cooksey replaced Jackson.
