Charlie Brown (Republican Party) ran for election to the Montana State Senate to represent District 9. Brown lost in the Republican primary on June 5, 2018.

Brown was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 17 of the Montana House of Representatives.
Biography
Brown graduated from Great Falls High School in 1977. He received a B.A. in social studies and health and public education from Concordia College in 1981 and an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Idaho in 2004. Brown received an administrative endorsement from the University of Montana in 2011 and he began working as a teacher and coach at Fairfield High School in 1991. Brown was the alderman for the Town of Fairfield in 2008 and 2010.[1]
