Charlie McAdoo II is running for election to the DeKalb County School District school board to represent District 2 in Georgia. McAdoo is on the ballot in the general election on May 19, 2026.[source]

Biography

Charlie McAdoo earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Clark Atlanta University, a master's degree in business education from the University of West Georgia, and a doctorate in adult and career education from Valdosta State University. His career experience includes working as an educator at the middle school, high school, and postsecondary levels. McAdoo has served as a member of the Druid Hills Middle and High School Principal’s Advisory Councils.[1]

McAdoo is a graduate of the LEAD CTAE leadership program and a Georgia Department of Education Teacher Policy Fellow.[1]
