Charlie Parker (Texas)
Charlie Parker was a member of the Arlington City Council in Texas, representing District 1. He was first elected to the council in 2012.[1] Parker did not run for re-election in 2018.
Although elections in Arlington are officially nonpartisan, Parker is known to be a member of the Republican Party.[2]
Biography
Parker holds a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from San Jose State University. His professional experience includes working as a pilot for TWA and American Airlines. He served as a commander in the U.S. Navy, with deployments to Asia, the Persian Gulf, and the Mediterranean Sea.[1]

The city of Arlington, Texas, held elections for city council in 2016. The general election took place on May 7, 2016. Four seats on the Arlington City Council were up for election. Incumbent Charlier Parker defeated Kelly Canon in the District 1 seat of the Arlington, Texas city council.[3]
