Campaign website

Pierce's campaign website stated the following:

The PFD:

The statutory PFD is an Alaskan right and should be restored in full. A Pierce administration will make restoration of the statutory PFD a priority.

Resource Development:

The natural resources of Alaska are plentiful. Oil, mineral, fishery, timber and so many resources are only found in Alaska. We must work to enrich, preserve, and utilize our natural resources to benefit all Alaskans. A Pierce administration will reach agreements with groups that put the needs of Alaskans first.

Education:

Alaska is close to last in education. This can and will change with a Pierce administration and a goal to gain support of a legislature to believe it is “Alaska’s Children First.” Once the concept of putting our children first is accepted, we will be able to rapidly increase our educational competence and enhance the future of our children.

Alaska Business:

Action, not empty words, will grow our economy. In a Pierce administration, the Department of Commerce will aggressively pursue business growth from the establishment of a positive environment for new small business while also encouraging larger out of state businesses to relocate to Alaska. We have the land, we have the people, and we are the “Last Frontier.” This is NOT just a welcome sign but an aggressive business attitude.

Election Integrity:

Past administrations have not taken voter integrity seriously and have done little to investigate and correct any deficiencies we may have. As governor, Charlie Pierce will take immediate action to restore voter confidence in the electoral process. Lt. Governor Edie Grunwald will make election integrity a priority form day one.[3]
