Richardson's website highlighted the following campaign themes:
“ |
“The first responsibility of local government is to provide its citizens a safe environment to live, work and raise a family. If elected, I will work every day to ensure our neighborhoods and streets are safe and secure.” “Regatta Plaza represents an incredible opportunity for Ward 4. If I am privileged to serve, I will ensure that our community is developed the right way. These redevelopment opportunities like Regatta Plaza bring jobs and help our local economy thrive.” “I will oppose any attempts to raise taxes in Aurora. Our sales tax is already one of the highest in the metropolitan area. I believe instead of burdening our residents and small businesses with higher taxes, our City should live within its means.” “We must obtain the maximum amount of funding for Ward 4 parks and recreational facilities. I will fight in every possible way to make Utah Park the best recreation area in Aurora.”[4] |
