Charlynne Otero

Charlynne Otero is the judge for the San Miguel County Probate Court in New Mexico. Otero was unanimously selected from among 15 applicants and appointed to this position by the San Miguel County Commission. She was sworn in on April 22, 2013.[1] Otero replaced Joe Horace Lucero who retired in March 2013, after being accused of misconduct.
Otero was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[2]

Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 37.7 percent of the vote. She competed against Gerald R. Garcia and Lawrence J. Vigil.
General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014.
