Charuni Patibanda-Sanchez
Charuni Patibanda-Sanchez (Democratic Party) is the Delaware Secretary of State. Patibanda-Sanchez assumed office on January 29, 2025.
Patibanda-Sanchez was appointed Delaware Secretary of State on December 11, 2024, by Governor Matt Meyer (D) to replace Jeffrey W. Bullock (D). She was confirmed by the Delaware State Senate on January 29, 2025.[1]
Biography
Prior to her appointment as Delaware Secretary of State, Patibanda-Sanchez served as the General Manager of the New Castle County Department of Land Use. She also has experience working as an attorney. Patibanda-Sanchez received her law degree from Emory University, as well as her B.A. and M.A. degrees in economics from the University of Southern California.[1]
