legislators — first as an intern, then as a full-time legislative aide, helping craft and pass policies on climate/transit, housing, and economic justice.
Now, Chauncy is running to represent Colorado House District 17. He knows the issues— because he’s lived them. And he knows the process — because he’s worked inside it. His campaign is about building power for those often left out: working people, young voters, Black and brown communities, and families on the margins.
Chauncy isn’t waiting for change. He’s working to deliver it — with you.- Economic opportunity and fairness are critical to empowering working-class families in House District 17. Everyone deserves the chance to earn a fair wage, access meaningful work, and participate fully in the local economy. I am dedicated to advancing policies that protect workers’ rights, strengthen labor protections, and create pathways to economic mobility.
- Access to safe, affordable housing is a cornerstone of a thriving community. In House District 17, many families face rising rents, limited housing options, and a lack of long-term security. I am committed to addressing these challenges through policies that ensure every resident has a stable place to call home.
- A thriving community is also one that is sustainable, inclusive, and connected. In House District 17, residents need accessible, reliable, and environmentally friendly transit options, as well as policies that address climate change and support the health of our neighborhoods. I am committed to advancing climate and transit justice by advocating for public transit systems that are safe, affordable, and widely accessible, reducing reliance on cars and lowering carbon emissions.
