I am a mom of four boys and a Dublin resident for over 10 years. My youngest are twins,

and seniors at Coffman High School.

I’m not only a Dublin parent, but also a small business owner of the Beauty Collective in old Dublin.

My job allows me to hear and appreciate many different perspectives and experiences. What I hear often is that many people don't feel that their voice is being heard.

Your voice matters. I am running for Dublin School Board to ensure that all Dublin citizens can speak up and be heard.

Let’s work together to focus on student academic success, advocate for parent choice and demand absolute transparency.
  • Students First - Academics, Not Agendas
  • Parents - Advocate Parent Coice
  • Community - Absolute Transparency
I want to increase awareness in my community about what the scool board does and how it impacts them. I want to open up communication and make sure their voice is heard.

We need more transparency on decisions being made. More defined curriculum content and context of how it's being taught.
I look up to and admire my mother the most. She hasn’t had an easy life but she has always made the best of it and always put me and my brother first in everything she did. She is a simple woman who says it like it is and loves you fiercely. I can only hope to be as strong and loving as she is.
I am an active listener. I am not formulating my response while you are still talking. I listen and observe. It allows people to feel heard and they know they can trust me with what they share with me. They end up sharing more than they typically would.

I am genuinely interested in hearing all sides of a situation and want to be given all the details to get a full picture of a situation. I am open minded to hearing it all before I make my own opinions.
My compassion for all humans is not determined by the color of your skin, but by your behavior.

I am not going to tell you want you want to hear, I will tell you the truth. I believe that is a very important distinction.
Putting the best interest of our students first is the primary responsibility. Being transparent about what is going on is very important. Asking questions and not just saying yes to everything being out in front of you is critical.
I don’t think this is considered a historical event, but in august of 1977, I was 5 years old, Elvis Presley died. My father was a huge Elvis Presley fan. He was devastated. In November of 1977, my brother was born. His name is Elvis.
My very first job at 13 was babysitting. I did that for several years until I was old enough to get a job as a waitress. I did that for a few years until I got a job with State Farm insurance. I worked for them thru my let 2 years of high school.
If we are talking about fiction, I’m going to go with the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon (it’s an 8 book series and book 9 is due to be released any day now)

The author just completely immersed you in this world where it’s so vivid. Jamie and Claire are just as real in my mind as you are reading this right now.

Non-fiction? I have read SO MANY great books. But one that keeps coming back to me is The Four Agreements.

I feel like I learn something new with each read through.
Just a small town girl - Journey

(I know you just belted out at least a line 🤣)-
The primary job is to set policies that are in the best interest of the children’s education. Hiring the best superintendent and treasurer also falls solely on their shoulders.
Every single stakeholder and parent in the Dublin City schools community.
The first step is to discover what their needs are. My

First priority will always be directed to the outcome

Of what is best for our students.
Can a kangaroo jump higher than the Empire State Building?

Of course! The Empire State Building can’t jump.
