Cherie Cruz (Democratic Party) is a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 58. She assumed office on January 3, 2023. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.

Biography
Cherie Cruz was born in and lives in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Cruz earned an associate degree in liberal arts from the Community College of Rhode Island in 2006, a bachelor's degree in education in 2009, and a master’s in urban education policy in 2010, both from Brown University. Her career experience includes working as a program supervisor for an early childhood development program, as a coordinator for the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, and Families, and as a youth mentoring program coordinator for the Parents Support Network of Rhode Island.[1][2]
