|My father was a US Air Force fighter pilot, and I have always had a heart for service and protecting our country. I began my career as an engineer with a master’s degree in the aerospace industry, then spent 20 years working for defense companies, leading teams that developed high-tech systems and war “gaming” strategies. I also spent time in Israel as a manager for an Israeli-owned company, working with members of their special forces. Over the last 15 years, I have built a design/build general contracting company. I am the Past President of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association and a member of the Texas Association of Builders Board of Directors. Through my work, I have had the opportunity to help shape Texas legislation on small business regulations and taxes. I have always made an effort to lead my community on values that matter to residents, like protecting our children from CRT and gender identity indoctrination in schools, as well as religious freedom and family issues. I am currently a board member of a local charter school.
My background is aligned with the kind of leaders Texas needs right now. As our borders, businesses, and conservative values are under attack, I am a tough Texan with experience who can be counted on to speak up, stand strong, and get the work done!- Texas is suffering under a broken border. Drugs and human traffickers are pouring into our state. China is staking claim our land. With experience in the defense industry, I understand what it takes to protect our state from foreign threats. We need to act smart and act now to stop the crisis at the border from becoming dangerously irreversible and to keep foreign threats out of our state.
- As a member on the board of a charter school, and as a parent and grandparent myself, I believe strongly in educational freedom and giving parents the power to decide what school is best for their children. Opportunity for a quality education should not be exclusive. Every child should be given the chance to succeed. Additionally, we owe it to the future generation to safeguard their innocence by keeping explicit material out of their young hands.
- Texas is now the most pro-life, pro-gun, pro-freedom state in the nation. We fought hard to get here, and the left is going to fight just as hard to roll back those freedoms. We can’t let our guard down when it comes to protecting our God-given constitutional rights.
For me, leadership is about being strong and decisive, particularly when it comes to defending our conservative ideals and policies. I believe that integrity and transparency are non-negotiable. Sticking to high ethical standards and being honest and open in all decisions is the only way to build and maintain trust among our constituents.
One of my top priorities is to defend constitutional rights. This includes protecting our freedoms, such as the right to bear arms, freedom of speech, or religious liberty. I also believe that it's essential to ensure the safety and security of our citizens, which means supporting a strong border, fierce national defense, and unwavering support for our law enforcement.
However, it's not just about policies and principles. It's also about showing empathy and genuinely understanding and addressing the concerns of our community. This includes considering viewpoints that align with our conservative values.
Representing the views and needs of my constituents is at the heart of my role. I'm committed to staying informed about their concerns and advocating for those interests at the state level. This goes hand in hand with providing constituent services, where I assist with issues related to state government, helping navigate services, resolving issues with state agencies, or offering needed information and resources.
A significant part of my responsibility is also in the budget process. Reviewing and approving the state budget is critical, ensuring that it reflects the priorities of our people and the state. Additionally, I'm involved in overseeing state agencies and programs, making sure laws are properly implemented, and state functions are efficient.
Community engagement is key. Regular interaction with my constituents through town halls and public forums keeps me connected and informed about their perspectives and needs. And in all this, collaboration with fellow legislators is essential, regardless of party lines, to achieve the best outcomes for our legislation.
