Cheryl Gonzales
Cheryl Gonzales (Democratic Party) was a judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. She left office on December 31, 2024.
Gonzales (Republican Party, Democratic Party, Conservative Party) ran for election for judge of the New York Supreme Court 2nd Judicial District. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Education
Gonzales received her B.A. degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York and her J.D. degree from Queens College of C.U.N.Y. She was admitted to the Bar in 1988.[1][2]

Gonzales ran for election to the New York City Civil Court in Kings County. She was defeated by challenger Sharen D. Hudson in the September 13th Democratic primary election after receiving only 37.9 percent of the vote.[3][4]
