Cheryl Gray
Cheryl A. Gray was a Democratic member of the Louisiana State Senate. She represented District 5 from 2008 until her resignation in December 2009. Gray announced she would be leaving her seat in order to spend more time with her husband.[1]
Education
Gray earned her B.A. from Stanford University in 1990. She went on to receive her J.D. from Tulane University in 1993.

Gray is an attorney.
Political experience
Gray served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. She joined the Louisiana State Senate in 2008. She served in that position, representing the 5th District, until her resignation in December 2009.
