Candidate Connection

Chetan Panda participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on February 26, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Chetan Panda's responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1) Delivering quality, affordable healthcare to every person in the US

2) Building a 21st century economy that works for everyone by making investments in Infrastructure, Clean Energy, and Education
3) Breaking down barriers that hold people back[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

I am passionate about education policy because I believe that a good education allows people to advance their lives. I have spent time tutoring and mentoring children and want to see every child succeed. To that end, I support policies such as universal pre-K; supporting public schools; making college more affordable; and investing in vocational education.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]
