To always be beholden to the people electing an official and not corporations.
To materially benefit the constituents within their district, to enact the will of the United States people, and to produce the laws necessary for the American working class to achieve life and liberty and pursue their happiness.
I remember September 11th. I was four years old, sitting in my public elementary school, wondering if the Sears Tower was safe. My mother worked in Downtown Chicago at the time. I remember finally getting home and watching the aftermath for weeks every evening with my parents. I also remember the two decades of nonstop war.
My first job was as a federal work-study petitioner and dining hall student employee. I worked in my undergraduate residence hall dining room in the dorm's basement, ever convenient. I had the job for two years and became a Student supervisor, and left to become a Resident Advisor in the same dorm.
All American Girl by Meg Cabot. I read it in the 8th grade when we were asked to decide our futures. US History was my favorite subject, and I liked watching the History Channel and the WTTW PBS News. The main character was in High School but very similar to me. She made it seem cool to be intensely into American History. I love Meg Cabot's books; I highly recommend them.

Reckless government spending that is not in the interest of the American working class and our climate future. Consistently ineffective Congress and in complete disregard for the will of the American public.
Term limits are acceptable and must be implemented along with ethical reforms, including ending the "revolving door."
Within the next two years, the US House must investigate the Pentagon as the US military has not passed an audit as the law requires.
Agriculture, Appropriations, Ways and Means, and Ethics.
All levels of government have a fiduciary responsibility to the American people, and all government personnel are accountable to them. Government spending needs to be overhauled to address the looming national debt crisis.
