My father became a naturalized citizen from the Fiji Islands the year I was born. He worked 3 jobs to care for my mother and their 5 children. He never asked for anything but the opportunity to prove himself and that he did! Prior to his death he had been a Pastor, Police Chaplain and was working on his PhD. I too am asking my neighbors in House District 79 to allow me to prove myself as their Representative. As a long time business owner in Helena, as well as a wife, mother and grandmother, I pledge to hold the line on government spending, hold the door open for businesses to thrive and hold a standard for safety in our community. Allow me to represent you well and I promise I will do my utmost. Thank You!
Montana is our Treasure state. There is nothing more valuable than our children, our families, our businesses and natural resources. I vow to value them all.
As a Christian woman, clearly the example of Jesus Christ. In addition to Him, I was fortunate enough, although for only a short time, to have a strong mother who showed kindness and example of service to all she met. I also carry with me the strength of many wonderful women who have gone before and done the harder work to allow me to run today.
The above plus constant and effective work ethic that is not self seeking.
I would like to leave a legacy of Love, Hope and the Truth.
I worked at a "burger bar " through high school to help pay for my school clothes and eventually college. I started at $ 2.75/hour but quickly got a raise to $ 3.25!
Over and unwise spending never works to anyone's success.
I hope to be endorsed by the voters in House District 79 in November. That's what matters to me most.
My mom who was born and raised in Hawaii, shared stories about Pearl Harbor when she was young. It made an impact of being a Japanese-American at a volatile time. I am grateful that it is unnecessary to be divided but can join together as Americans if one desires to.
