Function
The 2015 Alabama Senate rules described the function of this committee as outlined below.
“ | The Committee on Children, Youth Affairs and Human Resources, to which committee shall be referred bills and other matters relating to the children and youth of Alabama; and all bills that relate to the operation of programs managed by the Department of Human Resources; the needs of senior citizens; and welfare reform. The Committee on Children, Youth Affairs and Human Resources shall not exceed 9 members.[1][2] | ” |
