A Chilton School District Exceeding Budget Measure was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the Chilton school district, which is in Calumat and Manitowoc Counties.
This measure sought to allow the district to exceed the state set revenue limit by a rate of $650,000 per year for a period of three years in order to further pay for educational programs in the district.[1]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| Be it resolved by the School Board of the School District of Chilton, Calumet and Manitowoc Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $300,000 for 2013-2014 school year; by $550,000 for the 2014-2015 school year; and by $650,000 for the 2015-2016 school year, on a non-recurring basis for the purpose of educational programming.[2] |
