A Chimacum School District Operations Levy Renewal measure was on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the Chimacum school district area, which is in Jefferson County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 2,862 (60.34%)Approveda
  • NO 1,881 (39.66%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the then-current operations and maintenance levy which was set at a rate of $1.34 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further three years in order to maintain school services.[2] School officials had not made plans for if this measure had been defeated, because, according to statements, they believed residents would continue to support them. Though state funding had decreased, no programs had been singled out as to be cut if this measure had not been approved.[3] School officials expected around $2.25 million to be generated from this levy which was set to be implemented in 2012 once the then-active levy expired at the end of 2011.[4]
