What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

High Quality Education and Career Pathways Workforce and Economic Development Affordable and Accessible Healthcare

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I'm personally passionate about high quality education for all to include traditional college and career pathways. As a longtime educator I have seen the benefits of providing students and parents with education alternatives which adapt to local workforce development and econonic needs of a community.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Elected officials should be engaged and responsive to community needs. A platform based on individual or party values is a disservice to the local community values and needs. Elected officials should be accountable to the people he or she serves not big corporations.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

As an award winning educator I've spent the last 20 years engaging with diverse families and community stakeholders with the goal of improvinig the daily lives of students and families. This experience allows me to vet policy from multiple perspectives and has developed my ability to unite while seeking a common goal.
