Ramsey is the director of sales and operations at EverStaff LLC. He is the founder of GETDOT Networking Group. He also works as a soccer referee. Ramsey earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.[2]

Two of the five seats on the Hilliard City Schools Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. All members represent the district at-large.

Incumbent Heather Keck won re-election to her seat. Nadia Long won the seat left empty by incumbent Doug Maggied. Carmen Malone and Chip Ramsey were defeated in the election.[3][4][5]
