I have lived in the 6th district most of my adult life. I graduated from Bainbridge High School. Served in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years, earned an AA in Marine Engineering, was an Alaskan crab fisherman for 13 years and worked as an able-body seaman for Washington State Ferries from 1996 until my termination last October for refusing the Covid shot. I am the father of 5 children, married and have followed politics my whole life. I am very concerned about current policies and the direction the country is heading.
  • This district needs a voice and a force for the truth in Washington D.C. Good leadership requires adherence to principles of honesty, integrity, courage and a measure of humility. There's been precious little of that coming from the democrat party. The sane and reasonable people should have representation that reflects their values and will fight for their right of due process against authoritarian government aims.
  • We are experiencing very difficult times. Confidence in those who lead us is essential in unified support for the decisions and policies they wish to institute. The leaders must be grounded in the truth of the matter(s) at hand. They must be able to articulate their reasoning and defend their position(s) against a hostile media. Sane, reasonable governance will encourage and sustain the people as we hold the course to bring inflation and high cost of living dangers under control. We've done it before!
  • I want the men in the district who feel they haven't been able to adequately protect their wife's, children, neighbors and co-workers - to know they have a voice, an ally and a force on the national level who feels the same. A representative who recognizes the conditioning, agenda and narrative that runs contrary to what is good and just. That there's a man who's fighting back in the battle for the truth and Rights this great country stands for. A man who has a plan to make it easier for everyone to exercise their God given Rights.
Education. Not fund public policy that goes against what have been historically accepted truths in this nation - being taught in our nation's schools. Monetary. Must aggressively control and curtail spending as measures to bring inflation under control. Energy. Must replace "Green New Deal" with rational and economic policies, that will limit brownouts, aid in the efficient shipment of goods and lower costs. Foreign policy. Peace through strength. Secure the borders, enforce or enact new laws to those ends. Courts/Justice. Reform court system to better adjudicate matters involving the exercise of Rights. Consider the use of Common Law to expedite and lower cost to facilitate the dispersion of Justice.
I represent the truth, values and the direction most of the people in the district hold. That I will be fearless in the defense thereof. That I will prove trustworthy to my constituents and colleagues alike. My demeanor and orientation will prove conducive to guiding the Congress in returning to more sane, just and rational governance in accordance with the truth of Our founding.
To not break the public trust and be true to your oath of office. To bear witness to the will and desire of the good people who elected you. Setting an example to the young that the truth matters, and that politics is a good and honorable means to have the Peoples' affairs attended to. That as a congressman, you epitomize the attributes and actions of an honest, thoughtful, discerning, civil and patriotic Washingtonian that the residents of the 6th district are pleased to have.
Poem 58 by Chicago Transit Authority
Restoring public trust in Our public and private institutions. Maintaining long accepted mores and standards that facilitate a good and civil society. Ensuring individual and American sovereignty against foreign entities attempting to subjugate Our Rights, freedoms and way of life. At every opportunity, we should vote out of office those who are fast and loose with the truth. By example, and in action, demand integrity, truthfulness and accountability from our elected officials, bureaucrats, experts and the like. By standing with what is true and good, the nations' young will better understand their purpose and duty as citizens. Our challenge is to pass off to the future generation(s), a better country than when we were born.
The Judiciary, Energy and Commerce, Select Committee on Climate Crisis, Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Growth. These Committees are important in creating policies that can affect the whole country. My dogged desire to get to the truth of the matter(s), as the best policies are based on the truth - make me a valuable representative for the people and policy.
Compromise is almost always desirable and necessary for good policy making. However, integrity and honor should not be forsaken. I would hold myself and others to Our Congressional Oath.
